iqnite 2010 Australia26-27 October 2010
For the third successful year, the software quality management and testing community came together at this year’s iqnite 2010 Australia conference in Sydney. The high quality presentations received excellent feedback and delegates appreciated the practical advice, innovative ideas, and good humour the speakers shared. The workshops also received accolades for their level of collaboration – the smaller groups allowing for some excellent discussions.
One of the most talked about presentations this year was from Darren Flanagan – “The Gun behind the Beaconsfield Mine Rescue. Darren’s emotive presentation touched everyone in the room. As one participant said, “You held my attention with every sentence! Also hugely popular for the first time this year were the Pecha Kucha presentations. A captivating presentation style whereby the speakers present 20 slides with 20 seconds per slide. With only 6 minutes and 40 seconds to present a topic, the speakers did a great job of ensuring the presentations were entertaining and informative with some excellent imagery used on the slides.
The iqnite conference organising team would like to sincerely thank the delegates, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and members of the Programme Committee for your support in ensuring the ongoing success of the iqnite conference. The learnings taken from the presentations and networks developed through meeting industry peers has proven again to be valuable in the ongoing development of the software quality management and testing community. We look forward to your continued support for iqnite Australia 2011.
